2. Coming later
Coming later and not accepted at launch: CFP: Coaching and financial-planning education only. Investment advice only if the adviser separately shows registration as an investment adviser or investment adviser representative (RIA/IAR), and that registration is verified. Enrolled Agent (EA): IRS tax representation. Rules pending counsel review. Professional Engineer (PE): Engineering services, subject to state licensing checks. Healthcare compliance credentials: Healthcare compliance advisory. No legal advice. Attorneys (licensed, active bar membership): Attorneys pay a flat listing fee. Peritelos never takes a percentage or any share of legal fees, and attorney engagements are kept outside the 20% milestone fee. Attorney terms pending counsel review.
3. What verification means
We verify that the credential exists and was in good standing on the date checked. We do not verify competence, the quality of an expert's work, or good standing after the date checked. A credential is not a recommendation or endorsement by Peritelos. Credentials are re-verified at least every 12 months and when they expire or renew. Experts must tell us if a credential lapses or is disciplined; we suspend or delist the profile while we check.
4. Scope limits (condition of listing)
Experts may only offer services within their credential and license. Experts must not offer audit/attest work (CPA), investment advice without registration (CFP/CFA), legal advice without a license (everyone but attorneys), or any other regulated service they are not authorized to provide.
5. Clients
Clients should confirm that the expert's credential and scope fit their needs before engaging. Nothing on the platform, including content, tools, matching suggestions or the Concierge assistant, is legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, or other professional advice, from Peritelos. Any professional advice is given solely by the independent Expert who provides it.
6. Lapse or discipline
Experts must tell Peritelos if a credential lapses or is disciplined. Peritelos suspends or delists the profile while it checks, and removes any credential no longer in good standing.
